The Into SA Team
It is not only the dozens of university degrees that make the Into SA Team special, it is also their decades of practical experience in the front-line of dealing with inept, ill-equipped or oblivious government departments. Meet the Team that will make a difference:

Ralph M Ertner

Ralph M Ertner, born in 1965, is the founder and current CEO of the INTO SA Group. His career started at Deutsche Bank Berlin, where he was responsible for asset and portfolio management. He went on to study law at the Free University of Berlin. After gaining experience at the law firms of Neuendorff & Partner (Berlin), Heussen Braun von Kessel (Munich) and Jan S De Villiers (Cape Town) as well as Van der Spuy (Cape Town) he decided in 1995 to stay in South Africa permanently. Two years later he obtained the degree of Master of Laws at the University of Cape Town (UCT). With his specialist knowledge in all economic, fiscal and commercial matters, Ralph Ertner advises predominantly in Immigration, Black Empowerment and cross-border Company Structures.
Ralph oversees personally the operations at the international offices of Into SA and spends most of his time conducting Roadshows and assisting Delegations to and from all over the world.
Ralph Ertner is author of 12 books on legal investment conditions in South Africa, among them “Tax Law – A Guideline for Investors” , “Investing in South Africa – Opportunities and Risks in the 21st Century” and “INVESTOR GUIDE – Doing Business in Zimbabwe”.
He is currently a member of the Council of the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and past member of the Regional Council of the South African German Chamber of Commerce in Cape Town, founder of the Spanish Chamber of Business and past Director of the Spanish and Austrian Business Chamber as well as the Founder and Past President of various Rotary Clubs.

Sherizaan Ertner

Sherizaan Ertner
After having served Into SA as Director for Social Responsibilities over 7 years, Sherizaan Ertner has taken over the position as Executive Director in Into SA South Africa in 2019. She is also a Board Member of Into SA Empowerment NPC with the continued focus on uplifting poverty-stricken communities and its members. With her background in journalism and degree in hospitality management she identifies and guides the various organisations that are supported by Into SA.
Her socio-economic skills assist not only with these tasks, but also in her capacity as Executive Director of Into SA South Africa with the task of settling in the key personnel of our foreign corporate clients and their families.

Fernando Rôlo has joined the Into SA Group in June 2015 to provide our clients with additional expert knowledge in various Human Resource topics. He is one of the trainers and lecturers at the eACADEMY and drives the Into HR Services with regard to all aspects of procedural and legal issues between employee and employer as well as the legal HR framework for companies.
In April 2016 he moved to the Into SA Group Holding as Human Resources Manager and joined Into SA’s eACADEMY as Trainer.

Phila Komote, neé Cona, has joined Into SA in July 2014 to take over the Department for Tax Registrations and Licensing at our branch in Tshwane. She assists our clients with all applications to the South African Revenue Services (SARS), the Department of Labour as well as to other relevant government departments and professional bodies.
Phila is also assisting Into SA clients with offshore incorporations and offshore bank accounts as well as with the liaison to the offshore jurisdictions Into SA caters for within sub-Saharan Africa.
In August 2015 she joined the Board of Directors of Into SA Tanzania Limited, our subsidiary in Dar es Salaam, but remains physically based at our Tshwane branch.
In 2018 she assumed the lead over all company law matters and incorporations world-wide!

Dianne Nash earned her LLB from the University of Pretoria during 2003 and then started working at a reputable attorneys firm in Virginia, Free State as an article clerk, where she had exposure in all facets of law. After being admitted as an attorney, conveyancer and notary public, she was employed by Etienne Bedeker Inc Attorneys and headed up the transfer and bond registration department, managing and leading a team of 12 conveyancing staff members and trained and mentored the candidate attorneys.
During 2009 to 2014 she consulted to Deloitte & Touche and Ernst & Young in their Tax & Legal Department | Immigration Law.
Dianne has joined Into SA in a ex officio capacity to support the team and their clients with her expertise and experience in a variety of legal fields including, but not limited to Immigration Law, Administration of Estates and Wills, Corporate and Commercial Law, Estate Planning, Law of Trusts, Matrimonial and Family Law, Dispute Resolution: Civil Litigation, Arbitration and Mediation, Property Law and Notary services.

After completing his degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at UNISA John Sello Makhoba became head of ICT at the High Commission of the Republic of Mocambique from 2003 to 2006 for the Corporate Investment Center. After leaving the High Commission he was appointed as foreign language interpreter for Portuguese at the Department of Justice and after graduating at SASPS in Property Law and Conveyancing he joined Madisa Attorney as an Immigration practitioner.
John is also a certified Tax Practitioner and Commissioner of Oaths and joined Into SA in 2015 to assist as Legal Advisor for Immigration and Tax.

Ms. Plaatjies has joined Into SA in 2017 to assist our Cape Town Branch with her accounting and communication skills she obtained at Cape Town Technical College in 1992. She earned her credits in various sectors of the industry, mostly Retail and Banking.
Ms. Plaatjies is responsible for the group accounting in the Western Cape as well as maintaining close communication channels to the Western Cape Government and Parastatals.

Tarryn Evon began her career in Cape Town and worked for eight years in the Administration and Accounts Departments of an Immigration Company. After she assisted and excelled in her knowledge, handling ad understanding of Immigration Matters, she was spotted by an Advocate, who hired to assist her with Criminal Court cases and to run his Immigration Department for almost three years with a special focus on immigrants from Asia.
Tarryn has joined the Cape Town Branch of Into SA in May 2016 as Legal Advisor for Immigration, where she soon became the soul of this office in the Western Cape and took over the position as Executive Director of Into SA South Africa - CAPE Division - in September 2019.

Tandeka has joined Into SA Zimbabwe in 2018 to facilitate and submit visa applications at the High Commission in Harare.
In 2019 she was promoted to Office Manager and is currently responsible for administering and coordinating the office in Harare as well as assisting the directors with their projects.

Jörg-Henning Meyer, a seasoned journalist and editor in chief of the German-speaking News Portal Kap Express (www.kapexpress.com) has joined Into SA in Cape Town in November 2017 to support the new group-activities pertaining to the import and sales of international products.
He supports the Admin Team of Into SA’s subsidiary Technology for the Next Generation (NextGenTech), composes news articles for the eBRIEF and the Into SA WebPage as well as translations for clients, publications and social media. He also designs and re-designs catalogues and price lists for NextGenTech to bring them in line with corporate identity of the group.

Angelina Zabakhona Ntuli joined the Tshwane Branch of Into SA in Pretoria East in July 2014, as Paralegal and Office Manager. In 2017 she took a sabbatical year to pursue personal goals and has returned to Into SA in February 2018. Since then she continues to assist with the day-to-day activities and supports the Company Department with all applications to the Registrar of Companies (CIPC).

Into SA Representative East Africa
Lula Gebreyesus is the Executive Director and co-founder of the Africa Institute for Policy Analysis and Economic Integration (AIPA). Ms Gebreyesus and her colleagues, selected and commissioned the team of leading economists who formulated AIPA’s economic democratisation research program on South Africa. Prior to her association with AIPA she worked for sixteen years with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and eight years with the Preferential Trade Area of Eastern and Southern Africa States now (COMESA). She led most successful investment research for Rwanda that was used for the first investment conference in Rwanda. In the 80s, she played a leading role in the establishment of the Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Eastern and Southern African States. She recently visited Chambers of Commerce and Industry in seven African countries. Her knowledge on the needs of investment in Africa is research based and up to date.
Lula works very closely with the Common Market for Eastern and Southern African States (COMESA) and several universities in South Africa.

Ivan studied at the Central European University and the Charles University to obtain knowledge and qualification in international Trade and Finance. Thereafter he was working as public servant for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Prague, Czech republic, before he went to Istanbul to head the Economic Department of the Czech Embassy in Turkey and thereafter to assist the UN to acquire local companies and projects to be funded by the Czech Trust Fund and UN Development Programme.
He joined Into SA Central Europe already in February 2016 and moved subsequently to Istanbul, Turkey, assists with Presentations for Into SA’s Turkish Clients and to liaise with the UN.

Peter Balik

Peter worked as Head of Economic Research at the US Embassy in Bratislava before he joined Into SA Central Europe in April 2016.
He is in charge of advising and coordinating the Polish companies that have joined the eAFRICA Platform as well as coordinating the acquisition in the whole of Poland.

Ludger Pooth

Originally from Germany, Ludger Pooth lives in Cape Town since 2000. His media career with German newspapers, radio and television brought him around the globe, including conflict areas, such as Ex-Yugoslavia, the Middle East, Somalia and Zimbabwe. Ludger Pooth worked as the Africa correspondent for n-tv, the German news channel, then as a freelancing correspondent and TV producer for public and private broadcasters in Germany reporting all of Southern Africa.
He is journalist of the old school, penetrative in investigation, carefully in summary and with discernment in publishing. Into SA’s media man is a veteran officer and was a lecturer at the media faculty oft the Military Academy of the German Armed Forces. Ludger´s field comprises politics, especially military and defence policy, economics and society. In 2013 he joined Into SA, placing his skills and experience in research, political analysis and publishing as the Senior Administrative Researcher in the Cape Town office.

Tafadzwa Mhonde

Tafadzwa Mhonde
Passionate about the law and upon receiving his degree, he joined Zvinavakobvu Law Chambers, a law firm in Harare where the skills of legal practice and legal advice were honed. He recently completed his board examinations with the Zimbabwe Council for Legal Education and is soon to be admitted as a legal practitioner in the High Courts of Zimbabwe.
Early 2018 he joined Into SA Zimbabwe in order to assist with managing the subsidiary of Into SA in Harare and to coordinate the projects facilitated by Into SA in order to rebuild and restructure Zimbabwe after the dispensation.
