Malusi Gigaba, Minister of the Department of Home Affairs, has reacted to the postponement of the exams at various universities and has granted an extension for all Study Visa issued for foreigners.
The Visa is now – without application for an extension – valid until 31 December 2015 and any student may leave the country on or before that date without being declared undesirable, even if the study visa expired already.
