New Airline Route is testimony to Country’s Growth

Officials at T.F. Green Airport on Friday announced Friday that airline Transportes Aereos de Cabo Verde (TACV) will begin year-round service from Rhode Island’s main airport to Cape Verde beginning June 2. The airline will offer two flights a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays until June 30, when it will add a third flight on Wednesdays for the summer tourism season.

The airline, known by its acronym, TACV, will fly 210-seat 757s to the city of Praia on the island of Santiago.
