Uganda Revenue drops again

The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has registered a revenue shortfall of sh11.3 billion in November on the back of low collections from fuel tax and Pay As You Earn (PAYE) taxes.

The tax body collected sh557.5bn against a target of 568.7bn. However the peak season of the European Soccer Leagues has seen URA collect a surplus from casino tax mainly from sports betting.
